Scott Will Help Drive Retail Leasing and Business Development Initiatives Across the Firm’s West Florida Portfolio
MIAMI, FL, August 14, 2026 — Southeast Centers has promoted Matthew Scott to Regional Leasing Manager.
In his new role, Scott will help drive the implementation of leasing and business development strategies throughout the west coast of Florida while continuing to serve as a primary landlord representative for Southeast Centers’ portfolio of premier retail properties, ground-up developments, and grocery-anchored shopping centers spanning from the Tampa MSA down to Naples MSA.
Prior to his promotion Scott served as a Leasing Representative for Southeast Centers’ West Florida portfolio where he specialized in landlord representation, new retail developments, lease negotiations, and value creation in a wide range of Florida markets from Gainesville to Fort Myers.

Scott, a third-generation Tampa native, studied Finance at the University of South Florida’s Muma College of Business. He is a licensed Florida real estate professional and an active member of the commercial real estate community.
