The Company Negotiated Nearly 400,000 Square Feet of Retail Leases in 2025

BOCA RATON, FL, July 2, 2026Southeast Centers announced that it has posted another strong year of retail leasing in the state of Florida.

The Boca Raton-based commercial real estate firm’s leasing team of Regional Leasing Director Meredith Vogel, Regional Leasing Director Nolan Collier, and Leasing Associate Matthew Scott negotiated 35 new leases and 62 lease renewals in 2025 totaling 397,698 square feet.

“Our leasing professionals continue to build on the momentum of past years and are filling the few vacancies we have in our growing portfolio with exceptional tenants,” said Steve Miskew, Chief Executive Officer and Partner at Southeast Centers.

Southeast Centers currently manages and/or leases a third-party portfolio of 34 centers totaling ±3.3 million square feet across Florida, and including properties in Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Massachusetts, and New York. The portfolio is currently 97 percent leased.

In South and Southwest Florida, Bath and Body Works leased 3,150 square feet at Sawgrass Square in Sunrise; PT Solutions leased 2,468 square feet at  Coral Landings II in Coral Springs; Great Clips leased 1,080 square feet at Gladiolus Gateway in Fort Myers;  and Kwench Juice Bar & Café leased 1,050 square feet at Summerlin Crossings in Fort Myers. Vogel represented the property owners in each of these transactions.

In Central Florida, Collier represented the property owners in Anchor Bar’s lease of 7,000 square feet and Tico’s Bakery’s lease of 1,050 square feet at Rolling Oaks Commons; as well as Hibbett Sports’ lease of 5,040 square feet and Edible Arrangements’ lease of 1,400 square feet at Gateway Station. Both properties are located in Kissimmee.

Elsewhere in Florida, Matthew Scott represented the property owners in The UPS Store’s lease  of 1,200 square feet at Sebring Square in Sebring, and Ben & Jerry’s lease of 1,050 square feet at Publix at Steeplechase in Newberry.
